Part-Time Technical English Editor

We are an English language editing company catering to non-native markets like China, Japan, Korea etc, and are looking for freelance copyeditors or substantive (structural) editors who are

experienced in academic and technical proof-reading and editing
subject experts
experienced in editing non-native English
sincere, dedicated, and take deadlines seriously

Duties
To proof-read, edit, polish, Americanize, and rephrase research papers etc for journal publications, grant proposals, studying abroad, immigration, and business-related documents.

Qualifications

Native English speaker
Bachelors degree in a related field and 5 years relevant experience
Or a Masters/PhD degree
Major in science or engineering is a plus
Telecommute skills are required. No need to live close to our offices
